In Super Mario Odyssey, How often vibration is used to indicate item locations?
Posted On: March 22, 2023
Since Switch Lite doesn't have vibration motors, Nintendo has an alternative for the rumble in a form of visual "screen-shake" in Odyssey. The indicator is subtle, challenging to notice especially when crossing (a) challenge room tile(s) and have this effect to play for a split second. At least in the context of my eyesight and viewing distance, I can't see obvious motion on the Lite's 5.5-inch display even when standing on top of a moon.

Do opponents Pokémons Power Points deplete in Pokemon Stadium?
Posted On: March 22, 2023
I know that in Gen 1 games, the opponent's Pokémon has infinite Power Points.
Was this fixed for Pokémon Stadium 1? I tried to search on Google for an answer but couldn't find anything.
Question from user Fiksdal at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
This was fixed for Pokemon Stadium. I own the game, and can recall battles where the opponent ran out of PP and stopped using said moves. In fact I beat Prime Cup R2 by PP stalling the Mew's Softboiled and Psychic.
The only opponent that has infinite PP is Me . . . [

Love the game but… do our decisions matter in Hogwarts Legacy?

Could we get a sim mode where our decisions actually effect the game play loop, things like a curfew system that matters and having to get to class on time have good rest a food and drink need be able to sit down at shops and enjoy things like a butter beer it’s like you created this amazing open world with the depth of a puddle and it’s such a wasted potential not having things like classes you have to take daily and curfews and cmon being able to cast an unforgivable curse is pretty stupid imo and shouldn’t be an option for . . . Does XBox gamepad emulator software exist for the PC?
Posted On: March 21, 2023
What I'm hoping to do is use a second keyboard and/or mouse in the place of a gamepad for games that require a gamepad to enable multiplayer gaming. I've noticed a few games that are XBox ports have this requirement so was hoping someone could point me to some software.
Question from user dlanod at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
To the best of my knowledge such software does not exist. Most of the hacking work in the area is in making gamepads do keyboard like things, rather than emulating gamepads with keyboards. .

Can two players play a multiplayer game for Game Boy Advance using only one cartridge?
Posted On: March 21, 2023
I have two Game Boy Advance units, each with a wireless link accessory. I also have only one copy of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe. I have tried to connect both units by hosting one with the cartridge, and searching with the one without the same cartridge inserted, but it didn't work. I have not seen in the manual if this works. Does this just take a while, or does it just not work at all?

Whenever an enemy player is destroyed there's a percentage next to the kill message. What does the percentage mean?
Question from user Stevoisiak at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
The percentage indicates how much damage you contributed to the kill as compared to other players. Each player that damaged an enemy before it was defeated will see a different percentage.

How can I obtain Final Fantasy Adventure for a Mobile phone in the US?
Posted On: March 20, 2023
A little back story. The first (quasi) RPG I ever played was Final Fantasy Adventure. At that time, I was quite the platformer fan and NES Zelda games, although moderately fun, never caught my attention for long.
One day at a flee market I picked up Final Fantasy Adventure for a couple bucks and I fell in love with the experience of leveling up, weapon selection and getting engaged in the story. I was hooked and from then on I was a hardcore RPGer*.
