Fallout 4 wont launch after Xbox update

After the Xbox update on December 6th to version 10.0.25398.2917 I am unable to start Fallout 4 anymore. The loading screen is shown, but nothing else happens.As this is the only game I have installed I can't tell if other games are affected. I think it might be an issue with the game saves stored in the Microsoft cloud.I just started my 5th playthrough so basically I never had any issues running Fallout 4 during the past years. I play on the highest difficulty so i have only one save. For a magic reason the game decide to auto save at this exact moment. Do pawns take their inventory with them when they leave your party?

As I have been exploring the countryside I often bump into pawns who would like to join my party. Sometimes they are higher level than the folks already accompanying me, so I tend to add them and dismiss the lower level pawns.However it has only just occurred to me that some pawns tend to go off and pickup items and collect materials, so will have useful items in their backpack.So if I dismiss them do I lose access to their inventory?
