Polyamory with Astarion shouldn’t be a thing.

- He is unsure when you ask him for a poly relationship with (Character), and he even asks if it’s because you haven’t “y’know” in a while. Astarion clearly, is very uncomfortable that entire conversation and I noticed that he was hesitant to say “sex” which he never is! .
- Astarion is barely ready for a relationship w the player (if he is at all, considering how happily he takes it when they say that they just wanna be friends) .
- Having one GENUINE partner is overwhelming for him, so why would anyone give him two? He can barely take care of himself, let alone two people he’s supposed to give his love to. .
- Astarion is literally KNOWN for saying yes to things he is uncomfortable with, because he wants to please the player so they’ll protect him and love him (pure instinct, as he said so himself). Evidence to prove this is if you get the Araj romance confession, there is an option “I was hoping you’d throw yourself at me instead of her” and he is uncomfortable but obliges (but luckily, breaks up with you the next day).

I disagree, but I dont think it will be productive to discuss why with you. Im just going to post for anyone that doesnt know that Astarions dialogue will change when you approach him depending on if youve defeated Cazador or not. If youve defeated Cazador, hes more secure in your relationship. The player can still reassure him that they dont have any intention of breaking up but hell laugh and tell you to have your fun because he trusts you.
