Orpheus or emperor?

I just started act 3 and I’m a bit confused. I’m currently trying to romance laezel and I really want to try get the best possible ending with her. I talked to the emperor and I took the worm he gives you and consumed it. I ended up persuading laezel to use it aswell as we grow in power from it. Whats the games equivalent of the force

So I was wondering if someone could explain a few basic things to me:.I'm currently a drow lolth sworn bard and I've just finished the Emerald Grove quest. BG3 map is incredibly small.

Just curious. It seems like it would be impossible with some of the fights but I wonder if it can be done. Who picks your locks and disarms your traps...

. if not Astarion? I'm considering ditching him for the first time in my second run, but he is my lockpicker and trap disarmer, and Act 3 has many areas full of traps and locks.
