In another thread about using Divine Intervention again Raphael, and finding out that’s a very bad idea if you’re unprepared, several people posted some variation of “It happens to everyone at least once”. .


It’s kind of a Baldur’s Gate rite of passage. “LOL whoops, today I learned what Radiant Retort is”. I started thinking about other moments like that in the game. .


- The force traps on the way to the Blood of Lathander. .


- Ally dies and/or aggros when they run through an AOE after the fight is over. .


- Accidentally pissing off your whole camp, usually in some hilariously ridiculous way. .


What else would you put on that list? Just kind of “Ha, yep, everyone does it at least once” moments in the game.

Answer:

Missing that Minthara is a possible companion. I was very confused why a random miniboss had underwear on my first playthrough lol.


Editing to add: also getting absolutely flattened by your frog girlfriend in act 2, unless youre somehow more tanky than her.
