Is there something I'm missing?

Hello guys, I'm going through my first playthrough.


I feel as if I've done everything before the Shadowfell Entrance but for some reason I'm only level 8.


I'm also not close to being level 9. I'm only around 1/3 of the way to levelling up. I've beaten all the Thorms, done the prisoners, done the Druid quest, cleared the Shar temple.


The only thing I haven't done is completely exterminate Creche Y'llek (I used the Blood of Lathander chamber exit). I've completely done everything in the underdark. But tbh I don't see how the remaining 2 pockets of Githyanki will get me to level 9 since I've cleared the 2 main groups.


I've scoured the internet and looked up dozens of "do x before going through the Shadowfell Entrance" and I've done all of it.


The only unexplored region for me is probably the Creche Y'llek area but I don't think there's much in its surrounds.


Could anyone give me some advice on where the missing xp might be?
