Kagha arrange for Halsin's imprisonment? What was her plan?
[Spoilers].
I figure she didn't, that she was already being seduced by the dark side of the Force, sorry wrong franchise, already being manipulated by the Shadow Druids, and when Halsin disappeared looking for the Nightsong, she just seized the opportunity to close off the Grove using the ROT, leaving him to his fate, either dead, or stuck outside. That way, she was in charge, and could keep that barrier between this little patch of nature, and the encroaching civilization, in line with Faldron’s Canticle.
After all, isn't Halsin's imprisonment/potential murder at the hands of the 'civilised' (quote unquote, they ain't nature lovers) Goblins, and their subsequent raids, just proof to her that co-existence and balance isn't possible, and separation is necessary?
But my partner seems to think she was conspiring with them to arrange his disappearance, or that the Shadow Druids were in cahoots with the Goblins or the Absolute and arranged it (which doesn't make much sense but is plausible - the enemy of my enemy is my friend). That makes her a bit more hostile and a lot less sympathetic. She didn't just take advantage of a situation, she manufactured it.
I didn't even KNOW about the Shadow Druids til my second playthrough (when it was too late as I was in Act II), and figured she was just [Generic Evil Redhead with Snake]. Now I'm on playthrough 3 and am trying hard to understand exactly what was going on.
I'm not fully sure I understand Kagha, to be honest, so anyone who wants to explain in excruciating detail, I'm all ears.
