Why does Romance have to be creepy in Hogwarts

It might be an old topic, but I've seen too many people saying that wanting romance in this game is pedo behaviour.
Why does "romance" have to be a synonym for +18 content? seriously, It would be so cool to have seasonal ballroom dances where your character can invite a classmate, and if everything goes right hold hands, or whatever.
People are getting creeped out by these platonic romance ideas while mods like "make skirts shorter" exist. There are a dozen where girls' faces look as if they were taken straight from adult sites.
How does it work? making them run around with tight, short uniforms is ok but wanting your character to have a platonic relationship is creepy?
We've seen it in the books. It can work. Everyone had some story where they invited a classmate to a ball, or held hands. And the book is still acceptable for minors.
I probably can't link the mods because they don't seem appropriate for minors (ironically they are available for everyone).
What are your opinions on this kind of mods?
Question from user CallMe_Ivy at HogwartsLegacyGaming at reddit.com.
Answer:
I actually said the exact same thing yesterday. A Yule ball in winter where you can pick either Sebastian, Natty, Poppy or Amit to ask to the Yule Ball like in the books - movies. Doesn’t have to be romance. Just maybe a scene of them enjoying their time at the ball platonically?? There’s not enough fun happy scenes in this game. Everything so serious, it gets a little depressing.
