I’ve spent a lot of time in the Middle East/Africa. There is a non spin-able globe in the headmasters office. Given that the game takes place in 1890, while it’s not 100% perfect, the globe is pretty close to being spot on for a map of Africa and the Middle East in 1890. Also on the globe, they snuck Draco’s name in. While I’m sure in this instance it’s supposed to represent the dragon/reptilian meaning of Draco, we all know what the developers are actually sneaking in lol, Draco’s pic in comments since I can only upload 1 photo at a time.

Funny you say that. I am from the canary islands, and we are missing in the map that you posted. Is not a big deal (I couldnt care any less) but as you mentioned attention to detail.. I thought it is curious that we are missing there. Specially since we are mentioned in the movies by prof Slughorn.
