Cannot beat this fight to save my life, help?
I’m at the Kethric/Myrkul fight and I am getting my ass beat. Level 8 Warlock main with Shadowheart on support, Karlach as melee, and Gale as range/distraction. .
I’ve read the tips, I go free Nightsong ASAP, usually by turn 2, but she’s no help at all. I kill the skeletons, brains, and mind flayer ASAP too. .
Kethric has such insane defense nothing hits him. It’s just misses all the way down. I’ve tried using rain and lightning galore but Nightsong always downs in like two turns and Shadowheart runs out of heal casts super quick. Karlach gets downed super fast, within a few turns. No clue why. .
I’ve been able to beat Kethric twice but it took everything I had, then Murkul’s ass shows up and everyone is out of spell slots and Nightsong is perpetually downed. Even if I can last a few turns (first try went okay, got him to half health before he nuked) 90% of everyone’s attacks miss. .
What am I doing wrong? It’s taken me forever to get used to the mechanics of this game and when I reach fights like this I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing.

Answer:
Use invisibility to sneak up on him. Have Scratch ready to free Aylin(invisibly). Have your party face attack the mind flayer. This will start the dialogue. Convince Ketheric to kill himself. The Myrkul fight will start, and youll still be in a surprise round. Have Scratch free Aylin, then go to town on Myrkul.
