Why do you think the Dark Urge kills?
So I saw a video breaking down the character of the dark urge and several points were made on the motivations for his/her violent actions. .
They kill because it’s their nature. Bhaal is their father and because they are made from him they inherited his nature.
They kill because they can. They are regarded as the strongest and most pure bhaalspawn in history and that gives them a sense of power to do what they want.
They originally killed out of sympathy. The killings of the dark urge were straight forward before the parasite and maybe that was because he didn’t want people to live in a world with him in it. Evidence for this is that Durge gave a homeless man a handful of coin and fel was around and he “almost fainted”. Maybe somewhere deep down they wanted to be normal but urge drove them to commit these acts.

Answer:
It is literally the blood in him. Listen to his intro again.
