How do I get in this locked area inside a Binding of Isaac Rebirth: Repentance crawlspace?

The latest DLC, Repentance, includes a new design for crawlspaces. This new room layout contains 2 pedestal items, one on top of the rightmost ladder, the other seemingly unaccessible, locked behind a wall. I've already tried bombing the wall, to no avail. I've used a single bomb, since that's all I had. How do I get to that item? Question from user Kappei at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: This apparently is a new crawlspace layout added in Repetance - I don't think it can be experienced in previous versions of th . . . [More]

Replacing Water Blocks With Lava in Minecraft

Posted On: February 20, 2023
In Minecraft (Bedrock), I'm trying to replace water blocks with lava using a /fill command, e.g., on a region already containing water (note: this command covers the entire water region, there's no water left over around the edges):. /fill ~-3 ~-1 ~-3 ~3 ~-1 ~3 lava. But when I do this, instead of replacing the water with lava, it fills the region with obsidian :(. It works the other way around, if I do this on a pool of lava:. /fill ~-3 ~-1 ~-3 ~3 ~-1 ~3 water. Then the lava is replaced with water. It's only when goi . . . [More]

What is the record word size for a gaming system?

I remember the "bit wars" of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Genesis/Mega Drive and the PC Engine/Turbografx-16 were heavily marketed in the very early 90's as having twice as many "bits" (16) as the previous generation (Famicom/NES, Sega Master System, etc.). By 1993, Atari returned to the market with its monstrous cat-themed Atari Jaguar which they heavily touted as a 64-bit machine ("Do the math!"). This system was, as we remember, promptly pwned by the Nintendo 64 and Sony PlayStation before the decade . . . [More]

In the Witcher 3, what quests become unavailable after Capture the Castle?

Posted On: February 20, 2023
I am up to the main quest "Capture the Castle" in the Blood & Wine DLC. While going to the mission, I got a warning telling me that doing this quest may result in some side quests becoming unavailable, so I've decided to not do it just yet. . I've read that there aren't any quests that become unavailable regardless of the result of this quest, but why would the game bother prompting the player with a warning if that was the case? So my question is: what (if any) side quests could become unavailable after I comple . . . [More]

The title says it all: "Where is SuperTux user folder located on latest Debian Bullseye Stable install?". The .supertux2 folder is not located in my home directory, as many suggest. I haven't ever moved it, so it's got to be somewhere. Where does the official Debian Bullseye Stable package place it by default? Question from user GPWR at gaming.stackexchange.com. Cyberpunk 2077 cloud sync conflict on launch

Posted On: February 19, 2023
I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for a few days now - I purchased it in the Epic Game Store. So far, whenever I launch the game from the Epic app, I get this message each and every time:. I generally don't shut down my computer or quit the Epic Store app immediately after playing. What does it indicate? That my internet connection bandwidth is not enough to upload the save file to the cloud after I quit the game? Was the upload interrupted? How can I force it to upload? I have upgraded my Ancient Magic bar to 4. It builds up normally through combat. But all full 4 bars deplete to 2 bars upon saving and exiting the game. I would like to save all 4 full bars for tough boss fights. I have looked in perks/talents but found nothing there to prevent this. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? How to make Steam not count some games towards Average Game Completion Rate?

In Steam, some of the Showcases show the Avg. Game Completion Rate. This takes into account the percentage of achievements you have in average of all your games. Is there any way to make it not count some games? Sometimes you install games (specially free ones) and find them quite boring and stop playing them. It feels a bit annoying to see a low average due to them. Question from user Masclins at gaming.stackexchange.com.
