Did they have to go so overboard with the Hogwarts woke-ness?

It's a fun game (even though I can't help wishing they could have made it more like a GTA- hogwarts..that would be amazing ), but ffs why did they go sooo over the top making every second character either trans, a different ethnicity, or overly politically correct?.
I mean I'm still enjoying the game, and I don't have anything against people who fall into those categories, but it feels like it's constantly breaking the 4th wall by constantly reminding you that the developers felt the need to try not to offend any of the relatively small group of really vocal, far left PC police.
Seriously, would any normal trans person be offended if they just made a game where the clearly female bartender's voice wasn't male (without any in game explanation by the way)?.
It feels so over the top 'woke' that it should be more offensive if anything?.
Question from user yodelpants95 at HogwartsLegacyGaming at reddit.
Answer:
I don’t see the big deal. Also Harry Potter and especially Fantastic Beast is very heavily on political subjects.
As for the ethnicity and LGBT… that shouldn’t be a big deal either, like so what?
