Playing for the first time. What should I know?
I made my own character up. Didn’t pick any of the specific characters if that makes sense. I don’t understand the game at all except that it’s a dungeon and dragon type game. And that you can apparently, as I have been told have sex with characters!! And was very shocked to find out that you can change your characters genetalia!! ? My lord. So, since I’m playing is there anything I should know? What way I should play? Who to romance? What I should or should not do? Gimme some advice for a first time player!! .

Answer:
Take your time and enjoy the ride. .
The most important things I wished I knew was:.
for your attributes, they only confer an additions bonus every even amount. So 13 CON gives the same bonus as 12, but 14 will give you an additional bonus. .
You can multi-class on level ups. There is an icon in the top right of the class summary pane that lets you swap. This isn’t really needed but does open up build customization which is fun. You can definitely get through the game with mono class builds though. .
Some characters like Shadowheart come with racial abilities like fire bolt, which uses INT modifier which is low for her by default. So she will miss often if you use this. Pay attention to what stat a skill is using. .
