I know I'm not alone in this opinion either, but there's also a shocking amount of people who love Gale so I'm trying to understand the appeal. .


Please understand, I have used Gale in my party all the way to the Ketheric fight, so I feel justified in my opinion. My biggest gripe with Gale isn't the magic items he consumes, but the fact that he talks so so much. Way too much. Don't get me wrong, he is well written but I always prefer to take his hand at the wrist or abandon him most runs if I can help it. Anything related to his growth or reveal as a character is so long winded, and disinteresting most of the time.
