The female voice actor is infinitely better than the male.

I've been playing Hogwarts Legacy for around 30 hours, and while I love the game, the male voice actor grates on me. His over-pronounciation and "oh golly!" manner of speaking genuinely makes me cringe; no offence to the voice actor, but it's awful. Even my wife comments on how bad he is when she's walking past or sitting with me while I'm on the game.
Out of curiosity, I've started the game again as a female character. Oh my word, she's in a different league. Far more natural sounding, and the animation/performance of the character perfectly matches the voice. My wife sat with me and we've been playing it for hours from the start, and even she's shocked by the difference it's made to the game. I've now got a kick-ass female character and I've since deleted the other save, as I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience with a performance fit for a game such as this.
Seriously, if anyone's finding the male voice actor quite grating and, to put it lightly, quite poor, either try restarting the story with a female voice, or for PC users, download the Character Editor mod and just change your character mid-way.

Answer:
I did find his lack of emotional delivery at times (at least in comparison with the female VA) kind of dry but Id really be lying if I said that I didnt like his voice.
