Doable using non-default weapons in Resident Evil 4?

There is an achievement called "Minimalist", which is achievable when you: Complete the main story using only knives and handguns. (Excluding specific battles.). I got Hogwarts Legacy today for PC.

I got Hogwarts Legacy for PC today.  I couldn’t quite believe my eyes and all I could say was holy crap. It’s looks absolutely incredible! . Auto set up put everything on ultra in 4k. Running great. Very stable, zero issues.  I nearly didn’t buy it at all due to reading some pretty negative reviews.  But I’m so glad I did.  Seriously impressive and I’ve had that much fun that I’ve already played for 10 hours none stop. How do I use Triple Notch without triggering High Volley in Horizon Forbidden West

I have two skills from the Hunter tree: Triple Notch and High Volley. The weird thing is that as far as I can tell both are triggered by the same buttons, holding L2 and pressing R1. Sometimes when I try to add another arrow using Triple Notch I accidentally fire a High Volley. This is quite annoying as I can't really tell right now what the trigger is here for the different behaviour.
