What does the padlock icon in Pokemon summary page mean?
Posted On: April 6, 2023
I've noticed that there's a padlock icon in every Pokemon summary page, but I can't figure out its meaning or how to use it.
How can you lock a Pokemon? And lock from what?
Or is that an unused feature?
Question from user pinckerman at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
The icon will automatically light up when the game locks the Pokémon for various reasons. Two examples that I have seen are if the Pokémon is in a battle team that's registered for a tournament, or if it's currently being offered f . . . [

How can you run Skyrim in borderless window mode?
Posted On: April 6, 2023
I've noticed Skyrim has some issues when minimizing. This is a real pain when playing on multiple monitors and you attempt to find something on the other monitor. Is there anyway to enable borderless window mode in Skyrim?
Question from user Rapida at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
You can't by default, but there is a mod to do this.

Double cursor in Skyrim
Posted On: April 6, 2023
Since I've installed Dawnguard and Hearthfire, when ever I do an Alt-Tab and come back to the game I get the windows cursor and the game cursor. And both are not sync over each other so it's kind of annoying. How can I fix this bug ?
Question from user Warface at gaming.stackexchange.com.
Answer:
Hit Esc before minimizing Skyrim, that way the Windows cursor won't show up after maximizing the game.

Are any of the quests in Horizon: Zero Dawn time sensitive?
Posted On: April 4, 2023
I started playing Horizon: Zero Dawn a few weeks ago and have been focusing mainly on sidequests and exploring the world. I advanced the game just enough so I got to Meridian, but as I collected more and more quests from NPCs, I started wondering if any of those tasks (or any quests in the game) were time sensitive or could become unavailable after advancing the main storyline. Are there any time sensitive quests at all in Horizon: Zero Dawn?
Question from user parakeet at gaming.stackexchange.com.

There are no time-sensitive q . . . [

Where can I farm hearty fruits or other food that gives yellow hearts in Breath of the Wild?
Posted On: April 4, 2023
My basic approach to hard battles etc. is to stock up on meals that add extra heart containers (and to close my eyes at the scary parts).
Up until recently, I've had a solid back stock of Durians, Hearty Truffles, and other things that add yellow hearts when you eat meals cooked with them. But I'm pretty much out now, and need a location or two that I can reliably find some more.

Unforgivable curses in Hogwarts Legacy?
Posted On: April 4, 2023
Does anybody find it a bit odd that the unforgivable curses are seen as mega bad, yet diffindo where you are literally slicing someone or turning someone into a chicken is fine?
Question from user Churchkitty at HogwartsLegacyGaming at reddit.com.
Answer:
I suspect its difficult to logically argue that any spell is ethically worse than another in a game where roughly 80% of spell casting is explicitly to kill other beings (most of them sentient thinking beings, at that). But yeah, turning someone into an explosive barrel and yeeting it . . . [

Whats the air intake parts air drag in Kerbal Space Program past 1.0?
Posted On: April 3, 2023
I've been considering increasing efficiency of my early launch stages by adding jet engines. I found an old thread discussing the idea, and one post struck me as "make-or-break" of my idea:.
IMO, using jets as a first stage just leads to forming bad habits. It only works because the current drag model doesn't work. As soon as there is a realistic representation of drag in the game, jet engine first stages won't work. .
There's another, that explained why it worked pretty well:.
Also, try not to use any intakes . . . [

How does air intake work in Kerbal Space Program?
Posted On: April 3, 2023
I've just started building planes and am confused about the way air intake works. For instance, the J-90 "Goliath" Turbofan Engine is specified to consume a whopping 132.272 Air/sec while supplying Intake Air: 3.4 (presumably this is per second as well?).
How would I supply such an engine, let alone two?
The largest supplier of air that I can find seems to be the Engine Nacelle with Intake Air: 5.0 (similarly the Engine Pre-Cooler that takes in the same amount but is more expensive and lighter). That means, if I want to supp . . . [

How can I complete Desert Snakes in Forza Horizon 5?
Posted On: April 3, 2023
I have been trying to complete the challenge in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, but although the timer starts when I leave Valle de Foráneos, I do not get a waypoint to follow.
I have tried driving to Devil's Pass and up the ramp to a cave with a snake painted on the side, but the challenge does not complete.
How can I complete this challenge? What do I need to do to make the waypoint appear?

Can a redstone latch in Minecraft Bedrock Edition be supplemented with a toggle function?
Posted On: April 3, 2023
SR latches and T-flip-flops are trivial circuitry in Minecraft redstone, but it appears that there is little to be found for a circuit that combines both, allowing for both SR and T functionality.
I envision an SR-T latch to have set, reset, and toggle inputs respectively, but all connected to the same memory cell. This means that the output can be controlled by setting it, resetting it, and toggling it all at once. Just like an SR latch, pressing S or R when the cell is already in that state should do nothing.
All of my circuitry so far . . . [
