Tactical stance in COD MW3 - is there RL equivalent?
Posted On: January 19, 2024
The new tactical stance in COD MW3 - is it based on reality? I can't imagine why holding a weapon tilted would give you an advantage in combat. Any insight?
Question from user Boppity Bop at stackexchange.
Answer:
There is a stance called C.A.R.(abbreviation for Center Axis Relock) system - which nowadays called 360° CQD(close-quarter defense) - that focuses on close range combat, that is used by US army, police, and John Wick (Keanu even published his training).
There is ton of explanation website, but I believe this websit . . . [

Valheim multiplayer difficulty scaling
Posted On: January 19, 2024
I am looking for a thorough explanation about Valheim difficulty scaling when playing with multiple people inside a same world. The only information I could find with a quick google was this wiki, which states:.
Creature health is further increased by 40% for each nearby player after the first at the moment it spawns.
Hostile creature damage is further increased by 4% for each nearby player after the first at the moment it spawns.
Are these the only rules on scaling difficulty? Do these rules also effect any boss spawned? And what is t . . . [

What are the limits of Minecraft worlds?
Posted On: January 18, 2024
Although Minecraft uses its peculiar cube art for all the elements in it, it respects some physics' laws in some manner.
If Minecraft uses gravity laws and we expect it respects computer memory limits, the worlds created in the game would be spheres, or cubes because of the art design.
So, how large is the radius of that sphere (or the "radius of the cube" ?) in these worlds? The same of the Earth or infinite?

Slay The Spire: Does defeating minions reward extra gold?
Posted On: January 15, 2024
When fighting an Elite Enemy, they can sometimes summon minions to assist them in the fight. Defeating the Elite causes any surviving minions to run away. Will defeating the minions before defeating the Elite reward me with extra gold after the fight?
Question from user Stevoisiak at stackexchange.
Answer:
Defeating minion does not award extra gold.
I do not have hard evidence, however:.
If it did, some fights could be exploited to get infinite gold, e.g. Gremlin leader or Reptomancer, which would be a major balance issue.

Wii controllers keep losing connection. What can I do?
Posted On: January 15, 2024
I have a Wii and two controllers. In the last few months the controllers lose the connection to the Wii rather often. It's bad enough that we cannot play Mario Kart any more (because one player gets disconnected every few seconds). If I play Super Mario All Stars on my own, it disconnects less often, but when it does, it's always in a jump (which then ends, catastrophically for poor Mario).
I tried replacing the battery sets, thinking that maybe the rechargeable battery sets had issues. But that didn't work.

Luigis Mansion 3: Does a higher rank change the ending in any way?
Posted On: January 13, 2024
I've recently played through Luigi's Mansion 3. I didn't really care for any Boos, crystals or money, and the game awarded me with the rank B at the end of the credits scene.
Given that this is my first title in the Mansion's series, I'm not sure whether the credit scene is tied to the rank in any way. Does a higher rank change the ending scene or any other (post-)game content? Or is it just fluff and for show in a screenshot?

How to quickly check if peaceful mode enable - disable
Posted On: January 13, 2024
I created a game with the largest starting base parameter. I forgot if I checked or not the peaceful mode case before seeding the map.
Is there a way to access this information?
Question from user Galabyca at stackexchange.
Answer:
You cannot check if it was enabled or not. However, what you can do is enable/disable it with the console.
Go to options and look at the keybinding to open the lua console. You can find the binding in the game tab.

Efficient use of Construction Robots
Posted On: January 5, 2024
I often find myself constructing things using blueprints because it's so much easier than laying multiple things by hand. I was recently doing this at a remote mine site, that I had connected via Roboports to my main base, because I wanted to ensure that any damage would be automatically repaired by construction robots using the repair packs that I requested for the roboports.
However I noticed that as I was stamping down my blueprints, my personal robot swarm was only doing one trip between me and the planned items on the ground, and le . . . [

Can you control what ore a drill harvests when its placed over multiple ores?

I'm trying to harvest the maximum amount of uranium possible from a small patch. Unfortunately, there is a bordering coal patch nearby as well, and two of my electric mining drills are within range of this coal, and as such, mine some of it:.
I put a chest in front of each of their outputs with a filter inserter to take only the uranium out. But when I first fired up these drills, they mined coal, which is now sitting in their chests. After a while, they switched to uranium. Is it possible to control what ore it harvests? I want it to fo . . . [

Does Echo Form stack with itself?

The description for the Power card Echo Form states.
The first card you play each turn is played twice.
What happens if you play Echo Form multiple times in a battle? Does the first card played in a turn get played even more times?
Question from user Stevoisiak at stackexchange.
Answer:
Playing Echo Form multiple times in a battle will cause the first X cards played each turn to be played twice, where X is the number of times that echo form was played (The buff will show the number X). If you've played 2 Echo forms, you can p . . . [
