What is this treasure in Lara’s trophy collection?
Posted On: March 3, 2024
In the Croft Manor section of Tomb Raider 3, there is a hidden trophy room containing relics from Lara’s previous adventures. Most of these are references to previous games - fragments of the Scion of Atlantis from the first game, the Dagger of Xian from Tomb Raider 2, the eponymous Golden Mask from TR2’s expansion pack, and a T. rex head on the wall. Then there’s this.(The image is taken from the recent remastered collection, but it looks much the same in the original). A red ball, surrounded by three hemispheres, all magically floating . . . [

The Wikipedia article for Super Mario World states that the Gameboy Advance version (Super Mario Advance 2) has a 'toned down difficulty' compared to the original game. Is it just because you can save at any time, or are the levels/gameplay in some way different?Question from user Time4Tea at gaming.stackexchange.com.Answer:The MarioWiki article on Super Mario Advance 2 details all the changes from the original game. Does boss difficulty change depending on the floor?
Posted On: February 27, 2024
In Splatoon 3 Side Order, because of the randomization of the tower, there are three bosses that can be fought on either floor 10 or 20 (Asynchronous Rondo, Pinging Marciale, and Parallel Canon).Does these boss fights have any differences based on what floor you fight them on? In other words, if I fight Asynchronous Rondo on floor 20, will the fight be harder than if I'd fought it on floor 10?Question from user Stevoisiak at gaming.stackexchange.com.Answer:Yes, boss difficulty does change depending on if you fight a boss on floor 10F or 20F.Pin . . . Why is the firmware of the Xbox Wireless Controller not updated automatically?

I have now updated all Xbox Wireless Controllers (the first time since years). I didn't know that I had to do this regularly. Is there a reason why this is not done automatically? Updates to games and consoles also happen automatically. Most gamers will probably never update the controller firmware because they don't know about it.
Question from user Sybil at stackexchange.
Answer:
This is an assumption, but one possible reason controllers aren't updated in the background is because there really isn't a time controllers . . . [

Tactical stance in COD MW3 - is there RL equivalent?
Posted On: January 19, 2024
The new tactical stance in COD MW3 - is it based on reality? I can't imagine why holding a weapon tilted would give you an advantage in combat. Any insight?
Question from user Boppity Bop at stackexchange.
Answer:
There is a stance called C.A.R.(abbreviation for Center Axis Relock) system - which nowadays called 360° CQD(close-quarter defense) - that focuses on close range combat, that is used by US army, police, and John Wick (Keanu even published his training).
There is ton of explanation website, but I believe this websit . . . [

Valheim multiplayer difficulty scaling
Posted On: January 19, 2024
I am looking for a thorough explanation about Valheim difficulty scaling when playing with multiple people inside a same world. The only information I could find with a quick google was this wiki, which states:.
Creature health is further increased by 40% for each nearby player after the first at the moment it spawns.
Hostile creature damage is further increased by 4% for each nearby player after the first at the moment it spawns.
Are these the only rules on scaling difficulty? Do these rules also effect any boss spawned? And what is t . . . [

What are the limits of Minecraft worlds?
Posted On: January 18, 2024
Although Minecraft uses its peculiar cube art for all the elements in it, it respects some physics' laws in some manner.
If Minecraft uses gravity laws and we expect it respects computer memory limits, the worlds created in the game would be spheres, or cubes because of the art design.
So, how large is the radius of that sphere (or the "radius of the cube" ?) in these worlds? The same of the Earth or infinite?
