Sometimes I want to de-fuse a weapon because I've found a better component I want to add, or a better weapon to use that component. Is there a way to de-fuse a weapon or shield? Question from user David K at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: If you want to un-fuse a weapon, you can select the "Destroy Fused Material" option in the item menu, but you will lose the item you fused to it:. You can always go into the item menu, select the weapon you’ve Fused, and select the “Destroy Fused Material” option. . . . [More]

Is hacking spectres in the game mode Attrition recommended?

Posted On: May 17, 2023
When hacking a spectre in the game mode 'Attrition', you'll get points (about 4) for that and nearby spectres change sides and start following you. But they now can be killed by the enemy team. . Will the enemy team receive points for that? (making your points gained by hacking useless). Question from user Marcus at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: When you hack a spectre, you get +1 points in attrition, the same as if you killed it. In addition, spectres tend to come in groups of 3 or 4, and if you hack one of them, yo . . . [More]

Why do I receive this birds paw buff sometimes in Elden Ring?

Posted On: May 17, 2023
Sometimes I just randomly receive this buff with a bird’s paw icon for a short time. I assume it’s a discovery buff, just like from one of the consumables. Why do I get this buff? I noticed it happens in open-world locations. Here is a GIF with this buff randomly appearing:. Question from user arghtype at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: Looks like the effect you gain from the rune weather event. I think it happens when you see golden leaves falling in an area. If you are in this area, you gain a buff that increases the . . . Can you shoot down nuclear projectiles mid-flight in Fallout 4?

Posted On: May 17, 2023
I saw the above short video clip which depicts a player getting very disappointed at the sight of a nuke flying towards them, while scoped in a sniper rifle. The video is supposed to show how there is nothing you can do to avoid getting destroyed, but I've found contradicting comments on the internet that say you totally can shoot down the nuke using VATS. Can't check this myself yet. So can you shoot down nuclear projectiles in real time, with VATS, or is it impossible? Question from user user1306322 at gaming.stackexchange.com. . . . [More]

In BotW, they did away with the wallet sizes. You can always take in more and more rupees. But at some point, can you max the number of rupees you can get? Question from user Fredy31 at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: Based on the image in this thread, it appears that the rupee cap in Breath of the Wild is 999,999. The person who discovered this did so through hacking, as it would take an extremely long time to get this much moolah. For reference, here is the image in the thread:. . Why am I dealing so little damage to enemies in ToTK?

Why am I dealing so little damage to enemies in ToTK?

Posted On: May 16, 2023
Despite being several hours into the game, almost all the weapons I'm finding are still really weak. As such, I'm barely dealing any damage to the enemies I come across. Enemies on the other hand, often deal absurd amounts of damage against me. The imbalance has gotten so strong that I've just been avoiding combat all together. I can only assume I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not really sure what. Why am I dealing so little damage to enemies? Question from user Wipqozn at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: . . . I've noticed that some cave icons on my map have checkmarks next to them while others don't. What does the checkmark symbol mean? Question from user scohe001 at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: In a similar vein as the treasure chest icon on shrines, a checkmark will appear on the cave if you've found the cave's Bubbulfrog and recovered its Bubbul Gem:. Like in the case of shrine chests, this implies that every cave will contain a Bubbulfrog. Keep an eye on the ceilings until you find it!. Answer from user scohe0 . . . [More]

Does being in full darkness prevent you from being detected in ToTK?

* minor spoilers *. I'm trying to sneak my way underground early to try to find some goodies, and there's a lot. Fortunately it's not densely populated with enemies everywhere. Came across some Yiga strongholds and don't want to alarm them, I don't have a lot of strong weapons. I haven't found the lightroot in the area so it's mostly dark. Will enemies be able to see me in the darkness or should I just keep out of lines of sight? Question from user Jeff Mercado at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: In m . . . [More]

What does saying X mean in the faction chat in Albion Online?

Posted On: May 16, 2023
I see many people "x" in the chat, but I cannot find a clear answer to what it means. Asking in the chat also does not give me any answers. Question from user TheBird956 at gaming.stackexchange.com. Answer: It means you want a party invite. x [zone] means you're looking for a party invite for that specific zone. X by itself can also be used to express doubt, similarly to "Press F to show your respects", but I don't think this is common in Albion Online. Answer from user Throe at gaming.stackexchange . . . Is it possible to max out both health and stamina in ToTK?

In Breath of the Wild, there were only enough Spirit Orbs to obtain max health or max stamina, but you couldn't max out both (without using buffs that is). During the intro sequence of Tears of the Kingdom, Link was maxed out in both health and stamina. If I were to do every shrine, would it possible to max out health and stamina? Or is it an either/or like Breath of the Wild? Question from user Wondercricket at gaming.stackexchange.com.
