This is a tip for fighting Yurgir in the Shar Temple. I tried fighting him a half dozen times and died each time. The combination of creatures aiding him and the grenades took me out too quickly. The best I could do was defeat most of his henchmen and start to attack him when I got smashed by some grenades. Then I lucked out in the dialogue and discovered you can talk him into killing his henchmen and if you are lucky, himself. It worked and I beat him without any bloodshed. It's a hard role to persuade him to do it but I managed the first time I tried.
