Did anyone else hate Lae'zel as much as I did?

I mean come on, she literally was just an asshole from the moment you meet her. She constantly talks down to literally everyone, acts like she is god's gift to the world, and talks like everyone around her is completely stupid and incompetent and that she is the only person capable of doing literally anything. Can anyone explain how time works in this game?

So I had an issue early on that's kinda ruined my experience. When I found the gith woman locked in the cage, I talked the tieflings into moving, but then I couldn't figure out how to target the cage, so I assumed there must be a release. I started looking around, and as soon as she was out of site, like literally I barely went anywhere, she had gotten herself out and killed the tieflings (who had already left). I'm not sure why almost all of my allies disapprove whenever I choose to help Yugir. I feel like this is a morally right choice, so why does Will and Shadowheart disapprove? So I've told everyone I'm not becoming Bhaals chosen, killed Orins grandfather/father and killed Orin and then did a long rest, got told by the butler that I would become a mindless killer eventually and so far I haven't gotten the insta kill rejection from Bhaal and the resurrection from Withers.
