What happens if the guards begin a search while you have the VIP Pass on Rock the Cradle?

If you have the VIP Pass on Rock the Cradle, all private areas of the heist essentially become public areas. Cameras and guards do not detect you in casing mode in the VIP area of the nightclub, or in any other private area on the heist. Secure areas work as normal, of course. In the searching phase, guards do not normally detect you in casing mode in public areas still, but will instantly arrest you in private areas. Feel like I’m completely done with act 1, I’m an early lvl 6

I’ve scoured the map. Killed everyone I think I am supposed to and ventured to all the spots, goblin camp, under dark, ancient forge, Ethel. I feel like I’ve been able to kill all enemies relatively easily thus far, can I move on to act 2? I’ve seen people saying you should make it to level 7 but there is no way I have enough missions/exploration left to make it. How do I settle a companion in my Serenitea Pot?

After finding out I can use extra Realm Layouts without disadvantages I have setup one with some of the companion sets in to earn the primogems from the reward. However after adding the sets and putting the companions in, I get mixed messages when inviting companions to the set. How can I collect the gifts I already have? Is this because these companions are in my other Realm Layout? How long do I have to wait for the companion to become settled so I can talk to them and collect the reward? I'm on New Game Plus x2 (NG+2) in Starfield (PC). On my first run, I completed the "One Step Ahead" Ryujin quest by going to CeltCorp, waiting until the security officer left the office area, and then hacking the computer. The hack was successful, and I went undetected. Now I'm trying to actually complete the Ryujin quest line, so I go to CeltCorp and wait until the security officer leaves, but every time I hack the terminal I get caught and a bounty is added, and Neon Security becomes hostile.
