How do you perform a takedown in Payday 3?

Posted On: September 10, 2023
The skill "CQC Specialist" mentions performing takedowns to gain rush, and the remainder of that line is also mostly about takedowns. How do you perform a takedown to activate these skills? Question from user Unionhawk at stackexchange. Answer: Takedown is a contextual prompt after taking a guard as a human shield. To take a guard down, take them as a human shield with your interact key, then press and hold that same key as prompted on screen. Answer from user Unionhawk at stackexchange. . . . [More]

What does a segmented health bar mean on a hostile NPC?

Posted On: September 10, 2023
Starfield, PC via Steam. Most 'normal' hostiles have a health bar that looks like a single bar which decreases as you hurt them:. The screenshot above is from an animal on this planet I'm exploring. There is a single white bar underneath the creature's name which indicates its health. However there are some more difficult hostiles which have two health bars: the white one, and then below it a segmented red health bar. What happens when you fight one of these creatures, is that the white health bar will decrease as no . . . [More]

Can guards find and arrest you in casing mode in a public area during a searching phase?

Can guards find and arrest you in casing mode in a public area during a searching phase?

Posted On: September 10, 2023
In Payday 3, certain things can cause a Searching phase, such as a teammate being cuffed. During this phase, if you're caught in a private area in casing mode you will be cuffed instead of escorted out. Does the same thing apply in public areas? Can a guard arrest you just for being in a bank with an armor lined suit on, or do you also have to be trespassing? Question from user Unionhawk at stackexchange. Answer: No. Even if the guards are searching, you are completely safe in public areas if your mask is off. Answer from user U . . . [More]

If I evolve a Cosmoen into a Solgaleo, is there a way to get Lunala? Because my goal is to complete the Pokedex, if I evolve my Cosmoen into Solgaleo, what are the ways to get a Lunala? Question from user SuperByte at stackexchange. Answer: The Cosmog line can be traded, so if you find someone who is willing to trade you their Lunala (or a Cosmog/Cosmoem) for your Solgaleo (or anything else valuable you may have), you can get the entry in your dex that way. Otherwise, provided you didn't complete the limited-time research line, . . . [More]

My first companion on Starfield is "Sarah Morgan". Does she level up over time when she accompanies me on missions? Does it matter what kind of weapons, suits, or helmets I give her to add to her inventory? Does she use such items at all? Is a "human" companion acting the same way as, for example, Vasco (the robot)? (Protecting me? Leveling up? Carrying weight?). Question from user PeterCo at stackexchange. Broom races vs. type of broom

Broom races vs. type of broom

I got annoyed in previous playthroughs that I would miss the winning time by 10+ seconds or multiple hoops. This playthrough I picked a different broom from Albie Weeks, the one that mentions 'stability'. Boom. I beat Imelda's time by 5 seconds the FIRST TRY. Wonder if the different brooms actually do matter for these side quests? Question from user UnderstandingFar5012 at HogwartsLegacyGaming at reddit. Answer: It does not but I suppose in your case it is psychological. If it works for you, then thats great. Answer from . . . [More]

I’ve spent a lot of time in the Middle East/Africa. There is a non spin-able globe in the headmasters office. Given that the game takes place in 1890, while it’s not 100% perfect, the globe is pretty close to being spot on for a map of Africa and the Middle East in 1890. Also on the globe, they snuck Draco’s name in. While I’m sure in this instance it’s supposed to represent the dragon/reptilian meaning of Draco, we all know what the developers are actually sneaking in lol, Draco’s pic in comments since I can . . . How do I find my Outpost(s)?

Posted On: September 6, 2023
In my adventures I found a planet that had an iron deposit, which I need a lot of. I placed down the outpost marker, miner, and powered up. Then I went on my way with other interstellar adventures. I've been gone for a while, and travelled all over, so the miners probably need to be emptied. But, I have no recollection what star/planet the Outpost is actually on. It doesn't show up in the outpost crew menu. How can I find this outpost? Do I just need to select random star systems and planets and hope to find it? Question from user . . . [More]
